Join us this year for our first Charity Golf Invitational, hosted by AQRedited, proudly supporting Sunnybrook Foundation.

Every patient deserves access to life-saving cancer care and innovation but for those facing rare and under-researched cancers, that access is often out of reach. These gaps persist not because solutions are out of reach, but because critical areas of research remain underfunded and overlooked.

At Sunnybrook Research Institute, we are working to change that advancing research that targets unmet clinical needs and expands access to new therapies and clinical opportunities. Your support directly helps bring these innovations closer to the patients who need them most.

Your support helps turn promising research into real treatment options for patients who currently have few or no alternatives.

Your contribution supports critical research infrastructure, accelerates clinical studies, and enables the development of new approaches to cancer care. By investing in this work, you are helping move discoveries from the lab into real-world impact improving outcomes and expanding possibilities for patients and families facing some of the most challenging diagnoses.

Advancing Access Through Collaboration

Expanding access to cancer research also requires collaboration beyond the lab. Many of the gaps in care today reflect broader challenges in awareness, prioritization, and resource allocation across systems.

This event reflects a shared commitment to supporting research that addresses unmet needs and expands access to better outcomes for patients and families.  Together, we can help ensure that no patient is left behind due to gaps in research and access.

The Sunnybrook Foundation:

Dr. Hon Leong, A Senior Scientist at Sunnybrook Hospital and his research laboratory aims to improve diagnostic blood tests and developing novel therapies for rare cancers.

Dr. Kasia Jerzak, A Medical Oncologist that is focused on metastatic breast cancer and other rare cancers. She leads several clinical trials and clinical studies that aim to extend survival for patients.

All donations raised during the event will be donated to Sunnybrook Foundation.
